Don't thank me, the ontrack deeds of both ladies speak volumes for them both. They have legitimately earned the right to occupy the seats they have, in fields where many men have failed to a/. earn a seat at all, or b/. have not been good enough to keep the drive.

No, I was thanking you for backing me up on what I said in my response to danilen's posting.

Ah but I could not have done that, but for the deeds of the Ladies, as I said.

ok mlittle, i apologise for my sexist post
To be honest I think it will be a fresh experience to see a female driver in F1, but the world of F1 is just SO sexist I don't think women really have a chance. ( btw I know some women have already raced in F1, althou none have ever had decent racecraft)
no mlittle i was not aware of her drive in 2000.. as i said, i have only seen her drive once.
Just look at the way women are treated in the pitlane, they r just floating tits and asses (pardon my crude language)
Irvine and Coulthard have always talked unashamedly about going off to get laid after the race with some tarty pit girl, and Im pretty sure I remember seeing Coulthard run away from Jim Rosenthal during a post race interview, this season, to chase after 4 Red Bull girls.
If that is the attitude towards women in F1 I doubt there will be much support for women to race - can u imagine flavio or that prude todt having a woman drive for them? Also, have either Danika or Katherine expressed an interest in going to F1? I d have thought they'd be happy competing in their current championships as they still have alot to achieve and prove, ie win the IRL Championship?
Anyway, lets get back to the only question that mattered in my previous post, is Danika a hottie?

Argh, what am i complaining about, I have recently been absolved of my work duties and I dont start uni until october.
btw, very offtopic, any brits on this forum know anything about durham? good city?
Plus, back to the 2006 topic,, anyone else heard about the possiblity of JV going to Renault? apparently flavio likes him.

BTW, cmlean, Danica's going to be on Letterman's show here in the States' on Sept. 20th.
Danilen, I read your posting(the second one, not the first on the topic at hand). My own opinion of whether women can succeed as F1 racers could be summed up in a simple quote that I once heard Trans-Am, LeMans-prototype and Indy racer Lyn St. James say back a few years ago. She said, "The car is genderless. It couldn't care less who's in it, quite frankly. If the person's good enough, that will be what people will look at." I rest my case, once again.
Now, as to your question on whether either Danica or Katherine have expressed interest in racing in Formula 1...the short answer is yes. In Danica's case, from everything I've heard, Rahal was in the process of setting up a Formula 3 or F3000 test with either McLaren or Benetton(now Renault) when he got the axe from his bosses at Ford back in 2001. Had he succeeded....that's one very interesting question to answer. In Katherine's case, she's expressed an interest in racing in F1, but will likely take a few years to build her "racecraft" in NA before jumping to F1.
As to your last question.....
is Danika a hottie?
the answer is simply yes.

If you believe in something strongly enough, it might happen. If you don't, it will not

Danica Patrick has potential that could take her into F1. She is special and will most likely get a test drive in a BAR next year and if she impresses she could move in 07 or 08

I rest my case, danilen.
BTW, JayVee, read the review I posted of this year's Indy 500, when you get the chance.
