So Speed, Monteiro, Klien, Sato, Villeneuve and Montagny are eliminated.

Alonso was fastest ahead of Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen.
Button, Heidfeld, Fisichella, Barrichello and Webber make the top 8.

Just a reminder that both Williams had their engines changed and as a result will drop 10 places on the grid.

We apologise for this but the delay is due to a problem with the timing monitors.

Villeneueve did manage to set a time and he is 7th fastest.

The 6 eleminated are Klien, Albers, Speed, Monteiro, Sato and Montagny.

Liuzzi sets a 1:31.728, Heidfeld faster but Villeneuve fastest at this stage. A 1:31.275.
