I hope you are not serious!!rah wrote:He is heading to Nascar. 1st year in the busch series. Be good to see how he goes.
NASCAR is just not racing to me. Without Tony Stewart, there is absolutely no good reason to watch.
Somehow NASCAR fans and braintrust (a term I use loosely) has taken to claiming Nextel Cup is now the pinnacle of motorsports because of their TV audience!

According to Formula1.com Jacques will not be back this year but
it then goes on to sayFor his part, Villeneuve said that BMW?s failure to offer any assurance of him regaining his race seat after Hungary had led to a breakdown in his relationship with the team
"This is really disappointing as I was looking forward to working with BMW on longer terms - going into next season capitalising on our common experiences,? he told his official website. ?I will now have more time to concentrate on future projects. Finally, I would like to thank the team, especially my engineers and the team's sponsors with whom I have had real pleasure working with in the last year."
I can't see anything in that to prove that he is definitely finished in F1 or definitely moving to NASCAR. I am not saying he is not doing that just that nothing is definite at this point. The Canadian has made no official comment regarding potential drives for 2007, and it remains to be seen whether Monday?s announcement will signal his retirement from Formula One racing.

Having met the bloke I'm surprised he didn't return to the States sooner. The F1 paddock is not the place for such a congenial and sociable character he belongs in a less rarified atmosphere with mates and people who enjoy living. F1 paddocks are dull as dishwater.
