Passing lap 11..............both Dan Wheldon and Buddy Rice have made their first round of stops early, gambling on fuel mileage and luck

first four drivers(Castroneves, Franchitti, Kanaan and Dixon) have opened up a bit of a gap on the next group of drivers......................
best race on track at the moment appears to be that of Manning and Hornish for 7th/8th...........

Helio's in..........full fuel and tires; looks as though he'll cycle back out around 4th or 5th........Patrick in; the team added a turn of front-wing and did a full fuel/tire stop
Franchitti now assumes the lead; Kanaan 2nd

CAUTION'S OUT!! CAUTION'S OUT!! Race control reporting that the #20 of Ed Carpenter went off at turn 8 into the runoff area and they flew the yellows.........

Green's back out.........................and we're back to caution!!!
Couple of cars involved................looks like Hornish, Patrick, Fisher and possibly Meira(looking at the TV, it appears that Hornish and Fisher collided; in the aftermath, Meira went into the tirewalls and Patrick got to visit the concrete walls courtesy of Darren Manning and the "chrome horn".........

Patrick motioning to the Delphi saefty personnel to get her restarted and back out; doesn't appear to have much damage, but it looks as though Fisher, Meira and Hornish are out of the race.................

Wheldon, Matsuura and Carpenter have pulled into pitlane; assuming all three are topping off the fueltanks prior to the green coming back out.......

Just doing some quick math.............this race is creeping closer to a timed race; approaching the 1 hr. mark in the race(the only timed race in IndyCar Series history was Watkins Glen back in 2006)
