right-O, 3M!
I had about given up (a testament to Flavio & Renault's gaming skills in keeping everyone guessing while crossing 't's and dotting 'i's on the Spaniard's contract).
One wonders if the Flav was just taking advantage of Ron D's famous integrity, since Ron must have known almost as soon as he announced he was cutting Fernando loose. I mean Flav had to buy out Fernando's contract, surely. Since he couldn't get out of it without Ron's help.
Heikki will be a great team-mate for Lewis (if they take him) and then he'll have a chance to show that his rookie season was no measure of his real potential!
And, of course, if his new rookie team-mate gives Fernando any trouble, we could have a re-run of last year's theatrics --only this time in the Blue & Yellow pits.
Whatever the outcome, next year should be even closer and even more exciting than this year!
