Jenson is not Michael. Jenson seems to be fragile and all signs are that he will have a few more stuff ups before the end of the season and if Rubens isn't asleep then he will win the championship.
On team orders, thinking about it more, I think Brawn is in a comfortable position. He knows one of his drivers will win it so he doesn't have to continue to favour Button as he did earlier this season and from what I've read, all isn't well between Button and Brawn on the contractual side so pressure from Barrichello goes very well.

I have no doubt that the ridiculous team orders at Ferrari to favour Michael were orchestrated by Todt and Brawn

Personally I would like to see Rubens win. It has been a crazy year!!

All drivers have peeks and troughs throughout a season and Michael was no different from any other driver challenging for a championship. Except that he always had total number one status through the entire season... his entire career in fact. Jenson's perceived fraility is far more car related than psychological, coming to terms with a car that very suddenly becomes recalcitrant and off the pace. Jenson's form at Monza and his ability to resist the very tenatious drive by Lewis shows that he is in quite good form mentally, don't you think?

imho, JB is a very quick, brave, n smooth driver, who is kind to his machinery. His chink, again imho, is that he is not good at quickly adapting to problems arising with the machine, during the course of a race.
He seems to have trouble "driving around" problems that arise, possibly because that would compromise his desire to be smooth at all times.
Just a thought.

Agree with Julian on that one. JENSONs only flaw is this limited ability to press out the max. from a less than optimal car for his style.

Taking the car is going alright now I have no doubt he will beat RUBENS.

This No.1 status of MICHAEL is over stressed. He was simply quicker than his team mates. At least none of them had to crash into the pitwall for him to win....

I agree that Jenson is smooth but he lacks consistency. Not as much as Rubens in the past but over the last few races it seems to me that Rubens has found something extra while Jenson is losing confidence. I think I said earlier that just like last year those two will try their best to give the championship away.

As for Michael, I think he crashed into a few to win or try to win championships and that says it all about him.

And isn't it a smarter way to get others to do the dirty work for you rather than stall your car in the middle of the track and look like a novice
