Dont mean to burst your bubble, but its only 90 million.....
Thats still more money than i've ever seen.....
pocket money

I dont mind pocketing 10% of that money

(quite enough for me,as the dollaror pounds conversion in Rupees is astonishing

)

I think 10% of that is enough in any currency really...

News just coming in ...
Heildfeld signs 2 year contract with BMW from 2007..
That means he'll driver for Williams next year & Button would be allowed to race in BAR-Honda,ofcourse for the above mentioned price!!!
Oh is it Sir Frank, playing a game???By signing Nick for 2006,he could sell him for an amount to either BMW or BAR-Honda & also secure Button !!!

It is now official.
Jenson Button has been released from his contractual commitment with Williams.
Button said
I would like to thank Frank for accommodating a compromise to what was a binding contract and I regret the difficulties
my decision has caused everyone involved.
Frank Williams said
I am glad that we have brought this matter to a conclusion and we can return to what we do best ? racing.
The BAR Honda team have confirmed that Jenson Button will be partnering Rubens Barrichello in 2006.
Nick Fry BAR Honda CEO said
Nick Fry, B*A*R Honda Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are delighted to be able to confirm our 2006 race driver line-up. We can now put the uncertainty of the past few months behind us and focus on the future, which looks very exciting indeed. We have made no secret of the fact that we wanted Jenson Button to remain with B*A*R Honda for the next few years and that we considered Jenson and Rubens to be our dream line-up for 2006 and beyond

So who will Frank spring on us as a second driver????
Eddy Jordan has gone on record as saying this had best be the last contractual problem Button has, or all the teams will file him in the too hard basket, regardless of his ability. Its all about money isn't it.

I'd say Pizzonia has a real chance. At least he's stood by the team unlike a few others.
His performance in Brazil will be a major factor

Slept by would be more to the point. When he was needed to take Nicks place, the team discovered that he was still asleep in the hotel
A mechanic was despatched on a motor scooter to fetch him post haste. SF was less than impressed

SF is apparantly not going to throw Nico out there yet, so what choice does he have?
