I honestly dont find that too hard to believe, and i agree, Biaggi definately needs a win to show that he still has some fight left in him...but i am sure he will get scooped up by another team (if not his current team) in due course...cmlean wrote:Alright. I'll go out on a limb.
1st Biaggi
2nd Gibernau
3rd Rossi
It's contract time and Biaggi still hasn't done anything all year so Japan would be the ideal place. Sete needs something to boost his confidence and Rossi, as much as he would like to win, will settle for the championship.
Although I would pick the top three more like this....
1st Melandri (He could do with his first win in MotoGP)
2nd Gibernau (Like you said, he needs the confidence boost)
3rd Hopkins (The Suzuki`s were looking quick in testing, and it is their home race after all)
I dont think Rossi will finish...

My picks for Motegi....
1st--Hayden(hey, if he can at Laguna Seca, he can win anywhere....)
2nd--Rossi(wins MotoGP title there)
3rd--Edwards(two Yanks on the podium...what a concept!)

Rossi won't go anywhere until he has broken Mick's record of 5 straight, which he should equal next race.....Until then
GO THE DUKE!!!!!!!!
Gotta love a Ducati win...Would have been better if Bayliss was on board but he is too old & too slow.
Next year looks interesting in the MotoGP class. Blokes like Biaggi (even though he is 2nd in WC), Bayliss, Hayden, Roberts etc etc etc who have been in the top class for a while but don't look like being in contention to win a WC should be moved on. The 250cc class is packed with talent. Pedrosa, Stoner, Dovizioso, De Puniet, West etc etc. should be moved up to see if they can challenge Rossi, Gibernau, Capirossi.
