JV, why would I criticise Webber?
He has travelled to another hemisphere from Quenbayen, hardly the motor racing epi-centre of Australia.
He went with little money and a tiddler amount of sponsorship from Yellow Pages..
He excelled inFF.
The brrains of Mercedes Benz Raving were quick to sign him, after Flavio beat everyone else to his signature.
He dragged the Minardi by the scruff of the neck to far higher places then his team mates.
Likewise the Jaguar.
He then secured a full time drive with the team that is only second to Ferrari with titles.
If he does nothing else in Motorsport I am proud of my fellow Australian

Our respective posts on the two of them would strongly suggest otherwise
Then show me a post were you show any critisisim of Webber, even constructive critisisim
You have many posts, surely you can find one, right ?
Lol, JayVee, it is almost a hate crime to get anyone to go through all of Julians posts.
Just out of interest, have you critisised Alonso in the past? and no, I am not going to go through all of your posts to find out so it is a genuine question.
For the record, if anyone was mad and sadistic enough, they could find critisism of Webber in some of my posts.

For sure he does all Australians proud. I don't disagree there.
But he tends to over do it with his starts and you always blame something or somebody else.

Try searching for Julian and Webber and you probably get 50% of the total posts
Do you want me to critisise just for the sake of critisism ? What has he done to be critisised for ? He blew Fisichella away who is considered one of the smoothest drivers out their that would excel with this year's tyre and engine regulations.
He made a mistake in Canada, that was it. If he didn't make that mistake I'd be worried he's another machine

That is not correct.

You are not too far behind Julian considering the amount of posts you guys have done. Are you sure you two are not married?
So you feel that Julian should critisise Webber, but that you should not critisise Alonso?

JV, in all fairness you would have to agree that unless a driver "does a Sato" or makes an outrageous statement "ah la Button", or there is a similar post lodged, or has been "deified" beyond mortality eg., Schuey, you will be hard put to find a post in which I criticise. if Webber is involved in an incident, and I genuinely believe he is the innocent party, I will defend him. If I think he is at fault I say nowt

I am fairly sure we are not married. Maybe we were, and maybe we will be, but right now....I don't think so

I got once into his ute and he kicked me out after a few hundred meters
So NO and I am not going with this any further!!

If I driver makes a mistake, they should be critisised (in a constructive way) so they know they did a mistake and work on improving otherwise they'll think they never did a mistake, you know just like how you treat kids
But no I don't tell people what to say, that is up to them

I have tried giving constructive criticism to Schuey, Mark, et al over the years, I just feel they don't pay me enough attention, so I content myself with rubbishing Pizzi Sato et al when they deserve it.
Really, on reflection, the only one who ever listened to me is Alonso and he has done quite well.
