Maybe it's just the heat in Texas.......I don't know. This has to rank up there with the dumbest of dumb criminal news this year so far.....

A woman in Corpus Christi, Tx. reported to police there that, less than a month after getting an emergency protective order against her ex-boyfriend, she received ..........a weird package in the mail last week. Apparently, whoever that protective order was agst. doesn't take to those things well, for he sent the woman a letter with the words, "This is my last chance to touch you.", along with......one of his fingers.     That's right......this genius decided on a little self-amputation as a way to reach her.

It gets even weirder, though......police there report that, while they can't tell which of the man's fingers it was, they did report to the media that it "wasn't mangled" and "that it had been washed off" before being mailed.

Hopefully it was his trigger finger......the thing I don't get it was......after this genius cuts his finger off; how in the h--- did he manage to put it in the mail without succumbing to blood loss in the process???

There is not a lot of blood flow to the fingers. I am assuming he severed it at a joint, not the nuckle

An 89 yo NZ woman has faced court after TWICE runing over a woman in her seventies, then fleeing the scene..........on her mobility scooter.
The injured woman was in hospital for 3 weeks. She said that she lay on the ground in agony with broken bones, as the assailant left the scene "like a bat out of hell"
