We are still evaluating them Snowy and we are looking at limiting the number of them.

Thanks

It is now confirmed that Toyota will supply the Williams team with engines from 2007 in a 3 year deal.

Under this agreement, Williams will use the same specification engines as Toyota.

Toyota's Executive Vice President Kazuo Okamoto said:
We are delighted to be supplying Williams with engines from 2007 and working alongside a team rich in history and Formula One spirit.
John Howett, President of Toyota Motorsport said:
We are pleased to be selected as the engine provider to Williams and look forward to establish a strong relationship with them. We look forward to both teams using each other as a comparative benchmark from which each can improve its own performance and to competing with each other at the front of the grid.
WilliamsF1's Team Principal, Frank Williams said:
This agreement is the cornerstone of Williams' challenge for the World Championship. Toyota is an impressive and remarkable industrial giant, with the most phenomenal reputation for achieving the goals it sets itself. We are proud to have secured their support in our efforts to return to our competitive best.

I am sorry but Williams is going down guys. I don't think it is an engine issue. They have major problems within.

They are 8th behind BMW, behind even Red Bull

And do you know which team last used Cosworth engines then switched to Toyota engines ? Yes, they are now a Russian team that we don't even take notice of :furious:

I hope they recover

Cos if Mark stays at Williams/Lexus, Ralf won't be able to keep up with him to nerf him off the track

I totally agree!

Now that Ralf Shoe has been confirmed for Toyota, I expect Mark Webber to be staying put unless Kimi Raikkonen really does go to Renault, which I am expecting. I'm feeling PDLR will hang on to the seat at McLaren while RD signs Lewis Hamilton and Paffet to testing contracts.

At this point, if MW leaves Williams, they should put Alex Wurz in the car, but I have the feeling they will go after Anthony Davidson.
