These picks will take me into the 300's :D :D

Winner: Fernando Alonso - Not just the car :D
Second: Kimi Raikkonen - Will have to prove his worth against the other Spaniard :D :D
Third: Giancarlo Fisichella - What the car can do :D :D :D
Fourth: Pedro de la Rosa - Almost finishes on the podium. Wurz is fuming!
Fifth: Felipe Massa - What the red car can do
Sixth: Jacques Villeneuve - The BMW is getting better and he is good!
Seventh: Rubens Barrichello - Getting the upper hand at Honda
Eighth: Jarno Trulli - He is having some good luck finally

Sorry had to drop Jenson Button 6 races without a point

Pole: Fernando Alonso - Who else!

Just like in 2005, Michelin will show Bridgestone how tyres are made for this race   :D

Unlike you JayVee, I will keep picking Michael in 8'n'Pole. I just find it too difficult to leave him out of the equation.

:D

Greetings Mates, from the wild mountains of SW Colorado

Little did I suspect that Ron Dennis would move with such swiftness; alas, JPM proved emotionally incapable even though he did manage to achieve some wins (how many? five or six?) so he didn't COMPLETELY disgrace himself (like some others one could, but because one is polite one doesn't, mention)

So I know I had already promised to vote for Alonzo the Cute, and I still was able to pick him to WIN, something tells me Michael will steal the pole from him, so

POLE Michael --because he loves the challenge

1. Fernando, the Cute --because I threatened to keep jinxing him by picking him (I mean if he wins, my Pole N 8 score goes up; if he loses, I have the Ferrari fan's satisfaction of seeing the red car come back again from the wilderness
2. Michael --because Fernando will jump him at the start and I don't think he'll be able to real him back in
3. Kimi --because, now that JPM is no longer a threat, he should be able to drive into the race if he can just avoid Ralphie!)
4. Felipe M. --because he's in a Red Car (even Jenson could finish fourth in a Ferarri!)
5. Pedro De La Rosa --because it will make Ron Dennis have nightmares about what might have been!
6. Fisichella --because he's driving a Renault and this track won't be to his liking
7. Nico --because there has to be a Williams in the points!
8. Ralphie --because the Toyota Wallahs will be driven to seppku by his, shall we say, irregularity?

Enjoy the race!

Jim Watt

p.s. Nobody who posts on this chat list could POSSIBLY be as far out of the running in their picks as ME!

I got 30 points. It should be a high scoring round. so I will not gain on the leaders.

Did you work your own points out or have you got your results? I have no idea what I will get.

I finally bow to the pressure of picking Alonso and MS come through in the last 2 GP's.

I'm so confused.....

I might try next season not to pick any of the 8. Then I can really join the ranks of the F1 idiots.
