Now he goes to the top of the timesheets with an impressive time of 1:15.735!
Alonso goes out again but returns to the pits again!

Liuzzi takes second with a 1:16.697. Raikkonen and Massa on timed laps.
Fisichella on track too!

Liuzzi sets the fastest second sector and improves in second with a 1:16.241
Raikkonen moves into 8th

Fisichella moves into 7th with a 1:17.559 and going faster still

Fisichella fastest 3rd sector and now fastest overall with a 1:15.694. And has just the fastest first sector too!

And Fisichella improves again with a 1:15.605.
I wonder what the pole time will be if they are already setting these impresive times!
Pole time last year was 1:15.022 (with fuel). This time will be bettered for sure!

Michael improves on his final lap of the session with a 1:15.631. Just 0.026 seconds slower than Fisichella!
Montoya gets in a time at the end of the session with a 1:16.560
Top 8: Fisichella, M Schumacher, R Schumacher, Barrichello, Liuzzi, Coulthard, Montoya and Raikkonen.
Alonso didn't set a time
Liuzzi covered the most number of laps with 16 followed by Webber and Friesacher with 15 laps each.
Alonso did only 2 laps, Trulli 3 and Montoya 4!

Second Saturday practice session underway!
Air temp 18, track up to 27 now
Fisichella was fastest in the first session with Michael Schumacher just 0.026 behind
Alonso didn't set a time
No drivers out yet!
