gkaytaz, yes it means that the driver scored in their first Formula 1 race.

2nd Hint:

In addition to a number of other teams, I raced for Ferrari

BTW Julian, Louis Chirron retired in his first race. He finished on the podium in his 2nd race in Monaco 1950!

Alain Prost would have been my second guess but Southernman already took it.
