The political crisis in Formula 1 is dominating the sport. With just 5 days remaining until the FIA publishes the 2010 entry list and with no news of a compromise, a split in the sport is becoming a serious possibility

Rumours of a boycott to the race by the FOTA teams but the cars are going out to the track so the race will take place - more details

Back to the racing and Sebastian Vettel starts from Pole with Jenson Button alongside him
Rubens Barrichello starts from 3rd with Mark Webber alongside him
Jarno Trulli starts from 5th with Kimi Raikkonen alongside him
And Felipe Massa starts from 7th with Fernando Alonso alongside him

Of the top 8, Alonso is the lightest (644.5 kg) while Kimi Raikkonen (658 kg) is the heaviest
