Didn't see the race

The wet race that Fisichella was crowned the winner in Malaysia, the one where the Bambino (no-one-can-beat-me-in-the-wet) spun out, the one that Webber lost it and crashed and Alonso drove straight into one of Webber's loose tyres and the race was stopped. Result was based on the order a lap or 2 earlier.

Remember now
julian mayo wrote: My defiition of a bad crash is, a burn or a break that costs at least 4 races. how many did he miss?
I hope no one goes through that.

And it is very wrong IMO to assume a great has to go through that to be considered one   :furious:

Senna was great before his fatal crash (and I don't think he had a bad one before that)

AAAhhh, you talk of the race where the FIA in its wisdom, set down a set of rules where a great driver can thru sheer idiocy arrive at the scene of an accident, ignoring all the marshals flags, at a velocity far ( ie 120kph too fast) greater than other drivers, great or otherwise, would not, and who did deem it to be sheer lunacy, crash, into a crashed car, seriously endangering the safety marshals, and then walk away to the ambulance, and have the race win awarded under the aforesaid FIA ( need I say more) regulations.
Is that the race to which you refer..
The race where I saw reckless endangerment, callous indifference, and a vast overestimatation by a driver of his own ability.?

I feel that it is appropriate to discuss two brilliant drivers in the same thread, it saves on coal. 8)

In which case, GhoGho's right(referring to his Friday 8 July posting)--Danica is a better driver than Webber.
