Personally I don't see Renault dropping back, they have a very strong team. Alonso did make a big difference this year and last but Kovalainen will be there next year (I think).

I have no idea what, if anything, he is implying, however that is not the implication I took from the statement

There is a strong rumour that SeaBass [Sebastien Bourdais] is coming over to take over from Alonso in the Renault. I read these rumours on the ChampCar sites. This may explain why Renault hasn't made any announcement about puting Kovalainen in the seat, now that Raikkonen is really headed to Ferrari. I'm sure Webby didn't want to be caught out. Thinking positively, it is best to be in a situation where they want YOU!!! Red Bull has a large talent pool already on tap, so going after MW has to make him feel better about the long term.

Adrian Newey (arguably the best car designer/aerodynamicist since Colin Chapman or Gordon Murray);

The benefit of David Coulthard (fast, an easy teammate, experience, over 10 years time spent driving Newey cars);

Renault engines for 2007;

Those rumours surfaced a while back, then it all went very quiet in the forest...................hmmmm..
I just hope there is someone in RedBull to keep the brakes on Newey. He, apparantly, can come up with some out there ideas.

Adrian hasnt had a championship winning car since the cry baby Finn retired. Good yes, the best? questionable. definitly an improvement for RBR!

DC has driven championsip winning cars, but failed to convert. not the best out there, but still a really good driver though.

Renault engines? Not if Ferrari has anything to do with it, and they dont want to stop supplying RBR.

A lot of money AND the best parties on pit lane!

Ferrari and RBR were in deep discussion in Hungary.........it seems from a myriad of motorsport sources that Ferrari engines have been down on HP as supplied to RBR (the teams tape the other cars from various points on the circuit, run the tapes thru analysis, and can get within 50 revs apparantly0.......which turns the existing contract to dunny paper.

Yeah but...RBR tune the injins themselves surely? they must determine the revs and all that for 'emselves The Engines are bound to be previous specifications else you'd be shooting yerself in the feet!

I would have thought all of that Snowy..........it appears not, but I only have sources such as AustralianMotorsportNews, F1Racing.comGrandprix.comAutoAction etc where I have read that info.
