Lewis Hamilton. Can't say enough! I'd been saying all week that he was toying with Fernando and here he proved it. Whereas Fernando was pushing and bouncing over the kerbs, Lewis looked as smooth and unhurried as silk, but still RIGHT ON THE EDGE and pointed in the right directon. Smooth input, no sawing hands.
Have to say it, he reminds me of no one so much as Michael. Indeed, I remember Michael's race here back in (I think) '04 ... the one where he almost went to sleep because he was so far in front and almost spun it in the infield. His input and his riding on the edge smoothly making it look ridiculously easy: he treating Indy's little 'road' course like something interesting, yes (the same word Lewis used yesterday), but nothing to get really excited about.
I don't think there's a Spa race this year, but I can't wait to see Lewis on Eau Rouge! In fact, I might just buy me a ticket for that race and get myself to Belgium for it.

You can tell I'm excited. (Hot, too... dripping sweat on my lap top), and can't wait till tomorrow for the race. Now I'm wondering if Fernando won't end up out of the points because of frustration. He didn't look so good at the interview.
The funny thing is, I've not seen Ron Dennis all week. Maybe he's back in the garage trying to wipe the permanent grin off his face?
Kimi looked better today, even though Felipe posted ahead of him; I think the race for second place is going to be fun.

Wait a min. meant to apologize for naming the wrong anthem; tomorrow they'll be playing God Save the Queen twice, not Rule Britannia. Still, with Lewis H. it looks like it'll be Rule Britannia for quite some time!

This is a good point. Fernando Alonso is a very good driver because he manages to do what he does with a very sloppy style. He's kinda like Serena Williams winning tennis tournaments averaging over 25 unforced errors! At Renault, Giancarlo Fisichella had a much tidier style of driving very much like Alain Prost. Alonso drives similar to Keke Rosberg or Gilles Villeneuve, like an extremely committed madman. Smoothness must accompany race craft however. When the two meet watch out!!
This is where the advantage goes to Hambone. He is a very smooth driver reminiscent of Nelson Piquet, Michele Alboreto, or Mika Hakkinen. When Hakkinen finally got his F1 race craft together, even the great Michael Schumacher could not beat him.
The good news is both Hamilton and Alonso are so good and so young. Felipe Massa isn't too shabby either.

Race starting in 10 minutes.
Hamilton starting from Pole with Alonso alongside him.
Massa in 3rd place with Raikkonen alongside him.
Heidfeld in 5th place with Kovalainen alongside him.
