I once knew a person who lived in a place without a mirror, one night when washing his hands at a sink in the local pub toilets he spied, in the mirror, a baked bean in his beard. After much thought realised he ate baked beans 3 days before. Great friends !!
Maybe, perhaps, not sure

Yoiks :shock:

There's something to be said for looking in the mirror at least once a day, any more than that and it's vanity. I looked very good this morning by the way . . . 8)

:oops2: I guess I don't know who James Allen is -- or why his rumor (about Jenson) is so UNlikely, Snowy wrote:

James Allen's wishful thinking is woefully infantile and borders on the insane. Jenson will give Honda another season to get their act together and hopefully he will take the first step to getting his act together by shaving off that beard. I believe the number of GP's won by people with beards can be counted the little finger of one hand.

How come it is so unlikely that Jense will stay with Honda until the wheels actually fall off? (They appear to be determined to run their team somewhat the way Ford tried to run "Jaguar" some seasons back). And if Ron D. wants to start (after the example of Michael with Ferarri) a sort of dynasty to stick it to the red cars for the next four or five seasons, why not get rid of the Spaniard and pick up someone who will be grateful for the chance to drive a reliable car with a competent engineer?

Just wonderin' :?

James Allen is a British F1 commentator. Basically he took over after Murray Walker retired.

I dont think he "webber" would risk another move just yet".
Plus I dont think the boy king would want anyone who more than a years experience sitting beside him after Mr Alonso's behaviour. :shock:

Seems like there could be more twist in the championship...Hamilton win at Fuji under investigation based on the video on you tube.

From the footage one can't accuse Lewis of getting in the way and causing the shunt by over breaking. He was on a competely different part of the circuit. He had been right up the back of the pacecar going into the turn and Mark was right up behind him and giving him no room for manuvre in case of any hiccup. If anyone is to blame . . . it is race director Charley Whiting for running the race in such ridiculous conditions. They would actually have been safer at racing speeds than being compressed behind a gt car that had no reason being there.

PACECARS Suck, I think you'll find I have regularly posted that over the past couple of seasons.

I was surprised at how close Lewis seemed to get to the pace car at times. I thought there was a minimum distance. Lewis certainly at times appeared to be brake testing those behind him. This will be interesting.

I find myself agreeing with you on this point but I feel the race should have been stopped altogether. Very dangerous and lucky that Alonso was not injured or worse.

I am breaking my 12 month stay away! (as recommended by JM)
This place is far more addictive that tobacco :!:
(forgive me, I am weak):oops:

Now things are getting ridiculous! Hambonehead under investigation! :shock: :wtf: !!!
When FA gets aggresive behind the safety car every one praises him!!!!

May I remind you, it is pretty usual practice for drivers to vary their speed behind the pace car, (usually for safety reasons), if they don't the restart would be a complete disaster! Imagine everyone bunched up heading into turn 1 with ice cold brakes and tires! A line from a Christmas carol comes to mind....oh what fun it is to slide....

The incident reminded me of a similar one at Monaco involving MS and JPM if memory serves me correctly.
What investigation/ penalty was imposed?
NONE! And rightly so!

As for MW saying LH agreed to keep a constant speed, no one said he had to behave the same way, he only comes from a country that farms sheep, he doesn't need to behave like one. (I dont know what SV's excuse could be)

First McLarren/Ferrari, which took care of the constructors title, now this!
I am now completely convinced that the F1 powers that be have lost their collective minds, and are just trying to fabricate results to ensure a close championship. :furious:
What a load of bollocks!
I'm in shape

Round is a shape...........

MW said the following;

QUOTE - "He spoke in the drivers' meeting about how good a job he was going to do and he did the opposite. Still, we know for next time,"

Jenson Button said the following;

QUOTE - "When I was behind him it felt really inconsistent," Honda's Jenson Button said. "I don't know what he was doing really.

"He came through the last section and he kept slowing down," said Button, who had been fourth at Fuji during an earlier safety car period.

"He knew the safety car wasn't coming in and he kept hitting the brakes hard in the last sector so everyone would bunch up. Then he'd shoot off and brake again."

The above is from the Herald Sun

I think everyone in the paddock other than Sir Ron & LH are rooting for FA.
