Congratulations to Kimi Raikkonen on winning his 2nd race of the season beating Massa via the pits stops to take the lead for the final stint. Ferrari were the stronger team today and Hamilton did what he could but couldn't do better than 3rd.
Robert Kubica made a great recovery to finish 4th ahead of his team-mate Nick Heidfeld with Fisichella finishing 6th ahead of Alonso who only made up 3 places from his starting position. He wasn't quick on his very long final stint and so the gamble didn't work.
Good to see Jenson Button in the points for the first time this season.
So the pattern continues with Ferrari and McLaren swapping places depending on the circuit.
Only 1 week to go for Silverstone!

It was a good race considering how much Alonso battled Heidfeld.
McL really screwed up the strategy.
Ferraris seemed quite a bit stronger than the others.
Ralf is as good as gone...
Button salvaged a point but will that be enough for Honda?
Driver of the Day: Definitely Raikkonen.

Not sure if Ham did all he could. Disappointed to see him not putting up a real fight. At least as much as Alonso. I wonder how Ham would fare if he had to start from, say P10...Ed wrote:Hamilton did what he could but couldn't do better than 3rd.

Kubica was another solid performer today...
As said, Raikkonen gets my DotD vote.

Lewis had to fight really hard to successfully overtake Kubica or was it Rosberg? On cold tyres after his ill considered second stop, I think it was the maneurve of the day. Very robust, very brave and very neat, especially considering he is fighting for the Championship.gkaytaz wrote:Not sure if Ham did all he could. Disappointed to see him not putting up a real fight.
