I'll back where I am supposed to be, in the lead. Just to prove that NOT picking Bambino driver doesn't hurt your chances much :D Picking him DOES

And why the serious discussion at the F1Idiots bar huh ? Haven't we had enough of Bambino driver for the last what 7 years :D

julian, is that you or Webber ? but Sam Michael says they'll have strong engines next year so what are you worried about ? He won't bluff now would he ?
Doesn't matter, Webber is driving a ferrari after Schuey steps down,

Wait until the new engine in the Williams for next year and you will see how much he is bluffing. When Frank unraps that new Porche motor you will see the light.

Of course it is pure speculation not based on any fact or even rumour. But you never know. I was thinking of the manufactures that are not in F1 but are in other forms of motor racing. I could only come up with Porche, Audi/VW/Lambo, Peugot, GM. GM don't like motor racing much, but the rest are possibles. Peugot are getting out of WRC for financial reasons so I don't much like their chances.

I just don't think Frank wants to be the "other" customer with an engine manufacturer.

Maybe Williams should drop BMW, forget about Honda, and get some really good engine power...I'm sure the geniuses over at Cosworth could re-engineer one of their ChampCar engines for Formula 1 use, couldn't they?

Yeah, and "accidently" leave the turbo on.

FIA Steward.."whats that whistling noise ?"
mechanic..." That's Sir Frank, he is quite happy these days! "
FIA Steward..." Oh very good, carry on"
mechanic begins to whistle happily, as he turns the boost up to 10 bar

Julian, considering Williams' plight they might want to use all 50 extra hp...like it's going to help them anyway.

Yeah, the bloody chassis would just cook the tyres with that sort of boost. Fair dinkum, they should rip all the crap off the sides of the thing and just run front and rear wings, The bloody thing hasn't got enough grunt in a straight line to worry about aerodynamic grunt anyway, the way they lapped him in a straight line. And Mark was really happy about being lapped. Most of his quote was enough to make ME blush.

You know, now that I think of it, maybe they should just get an old Formula Ford car from 2000, and run that on the track. They might actually win a race then. Now if we could just figure where they stashed Patrick's one from 2000; I mean, all they'd have to do is put a new engine in it and...wait, never mind.
