Only three to go ... not sure how correct our answers are but I think we have a lot of them right.

Must admit I could do with the picture being a bit bigger. Some of the things I could really tell what they were.

One thing that disturbs me... My buddy did not tell me if the total of 74 was supposed to be in our picture or the big one he saw. Should the latter be true our search for additional bands could prove in vain.

That bikini in the shop window made me google for band names. I came up with "Bikini Kill". Guess that's one more to add to the list.

A list he won't have. He might be able to remember though, if we're lucky. I guess I could remember most if someone asked me about the picture and pointed at a particular object thereon.

Apparently this is a Virgin promo for "72 Bands" but people have found more

[google]Virgin[/google] is now a global brand name created by Richard Branson. I think he started with mail order record music but now covers airlines, finance, communications, who know next step would be media if not already in it!!
