Albers sets a 2:41.141 just 0.7 seconds faster than his team-mate. He was 1.2 seconds up at the second sector!

Monteiro has what seems to be an engine failure.
The session is stopped to check if there is oil on the track.
Karthikeyan has abandoned his run. He will go out again once he is given the all clear.

The track has been cleaned and the session is restarted.
This engine failure - as it is expected to be - would be the first for a Toyota powered car.
