Regardless of all the banter, though, Julian, it is truly one of the great college football rivalries here in the States' and I, for one, look forward to watching it each year. There's also, like I said earlier above, a lot those players think about during the game, especially the senior classes.....beneath all the excitement and passion the rivalry brings, they know, once that final 4th-qtr. whistle sounds, that only months separate them from trading in their cadet uniforms for their officers' commissions(as either a 2nd Lt. or as an Ensign) and the start of their 5-yr. commitments.
It may not be the most important rivalry in terms of records, bowl games, national titles, etc...., but in this day and age, with everything going on around the world, it is IMO the best rivalry in college football.
May both teams give everything they've got on the gridiron tomorrow......oh, and just as a reminder.......once more:
