Agree Ed, What a shame it didn't happen in Hungary! Hopefully some positives will come out of this debacle with a rewrite of some of the dumber rules now in place. Either way we will see some very empty stands here next year.

Lap 29 and Rubens leads Michael by 2.6 seconds

Team radio asked Michael to close in on Rubens and that he has 2 laps more of fuel than Rubens

He is 3 seconds ahead of Michael on lap 39

In my opinion Michelin is guilty...no dubts. hard to blame ferrari for not agreeing on the new chicane... but it was in their hands to save the race. poor fans there in the track...

Seems a lot of fans are voting with their feet. And demanding refunds. I think the ramifications of this have been vastly underestimated by a lot of people. F1 is an entertainment business,up against a lot of competition, it is now the laughing stock of the USA. For me, it has screwed the whole season, because of the artificial result coming out of today

I'm not sure if there would have been a chicane if all 10 had agreed. Charlie was pretty specific in the wording of his response to Michelin.

The only real outcome that could have satisfied the rules was a series of tyre stops every 10 laps - not that I agree with the rules anyway.
