Massa and Kimi could be the ideal duo as far as team orders go :)

Hakka ....DC

RBR will have the Renault engine, with DC and Webber; good chance for em to shine. STR on the other hand has shown time and again that they can do good things given the chance. They are stuck with the Ferrari engine and a customer team supplied with a Ferrari engine has yet to win a race. Not a very good mark for Ferrari by any means. Still STR is way ahead of Minardi and they should soon start fighting their way up into the middle ranks.
Possibly one good thing to come out of the engine freeze is the that the teams getting customer engines will not always be a couple of evolutions behind as they were in the past.
Remember when Sauber got Ferrari engines they started the season with the same engine, but by race 3 ferrari already had the second evolution for the season. New rules should effectively prevent this from happeneing.
STR also seem poised to have the same chassis as RBR if the loophole works for them  Just another step closer to one design racing

No arguments from here.
I see you reckon the new toyota looks like the ferrari, there goes another step in the one design direction

David Richards of ProDrive has already made it clear that he will be buying another chassis and engine from an existing team for 2008.

He said that he is talking to 3 teams but has a preferred option!

If Todt is still running the show and Michael giving advice to Raikkonen and Massa then I doubt that they will not apply team orders. I hope they don't but lets wait and see. You can't just give them a get out of jail card just because they just said so.

Does anyone think that Raikkonen would really be interested in what Michael tells him :shock2:

I think Kimi is smart enough to weed out anything of use to his career, from anyone

Ok Julian, here are some stats, you can choose the one that suits

Last 9 races of 2006

Michael: 62
Massa: 52

Last 6 races of 2006

Michael: 32
Massa: 30

Last 3 races of 2006

Massa: 18
Michael: 15

Last 2 races of 2006

Massa: 18
Michael: 5

So as you can see Massa did better than Michael in the latter part of the season but that was after Michael announced his retirement

Qualifying for the last 9 races of 2006

Massa: 2, 2, 3, 2, 1, 4, 20, 1, 1
Michael: 1, 1, 2, 11, 2, 2, 6, 2, 10

Similar picture here, Massa qualified better in the latter part of the season. But qualifying with fuel and grid penalties can cause some distortion

Basically Massa needs to get a good start but I don't see him a Championship material anyway. He may still win it if :
- the Ferrari is much stronger than the other cars
- Kimi carries on breaking the Ferrari
- McLaren keeps breaking down :D

Like what ? drive slowly or you'll break da car ??

Raikkonen doesn't listen to anyone. In fact, most drivers at that level don't.

Lets ask <T-K> what he thinks ?
