nothing like waking up in the morning STINKING of bundy & dry...

but i agree, its too hard to compare. different era, different cars, different drivers. both are absolute geniuses in their own right and deserve to be remembered as being two of the best there ever are/was/will be..

THe Senna and Schumacher debate is pointless. People who think Senna was the best will always think that and others who dont wont. Both were good in their own way. What Senna fans must concede though is that his reputation has been greatly enhanced by his tragic death. That is not to say that he wasnt great...its just that his passing has increased his legend tenfold. I personally consider Schumacher to be bettet than Senna. On pure driving terms I think he was the more intellegent racer. His approach is to racing is more clever. His percentage races won can attest to that. People mentuion Donnington as proof that Senna was better. That just one race! Not a whole career. How about Spian 96? Or Belgium 95? They too were great perfomances.
Ultimately both were great but the sadly for us fans we never got the chance to see them really fighting. We all have our favorite and we should just leave it at that

Senna hands down is the better driver, racer, and person of the two IMO. Lets first state that Senna drove for 4 less seasons and Schumi had not even yet equalled the record of pole positions as Senna has. A ture measure of a great driver is how fast he is and Senna could simply take it up to another level in qualifying that NO ONE can to this day. And if anyone tells me Schumacher is a better racer I will laugh in their face! Senna could still beat him if he was alive. Senna could take a car that had no busniess winning and simply find a way to do it. He was a true racer, as long as his car had tires and worked his sight was on the number one position while Schumacher has to have the perfect car to win...which is not a measure of a truely great driver as ability OR desire goes. And as far as rain driving goes, Schumacher is good, but again, Senna would show him his rooster tail anyday. Also, whoever says that Schumacher is better because he has more race wins and championships does not see the big picture. But tell yourselves this, if Senna was alive, you don't think he'd have more race wins and championships? Those are numbers, and we are debating who the better "driver" was. But all that is speculation and Schumacher has 4 more seasons on Senna. Look at when Senna was paired up with Prost. Prost was the man back then! Senna simply killed him as a driver and got in his head. IMO Senna was cheated the championship in 1989. Prost turned into him and gave up when they came together in Suzuka. Senna was a warrior, he came back and won that race. It was one of the most intense races he has prolly run next to Donington or Monaco in 1984. Senna was also an engineers driver. He could come back in exact detail and tell them what his car was doing and the on-board telemetry showed that he has an amazing ability of being as an extension of his car which also puts Schumacher down a level. Schumacher might have been a good team motivator but he did not have a better 'feel' of the car as Senna had. So IMO he is a 4-time champ and Prost is a 3-time champ. And Senna was a good human being as well. Schumacher is a robot with no personallity. Senna IMO is the best "racing driver" that ever lived to date because he was a "racer"...not a championship point collector, or winner if he had a good car...he was a winner at any cost and that truely is why he is my racing hero and always will be! And if I had one chance to meet anyone in my life other then God, it would be Senna. He was a racing God and a immortal legend that will NEVER die!
