I am saying nearly.

I think describing a rookie who was only raced in 6 races as 'nearly Senna' is way too immature.

Kubica in Hungary had the chance to prove himself in the wet but remember how many times he spun ?
The 5 races that followed, he only twice did he finish better than his qualifying (in Italy from 6th to 3rd and Japan from 12th to 9th), the rest he finished in the same qualifying position in 9th once (in Brazil) and dropped from 8th to 12th and from 9th to 13th in Turkey and China

Sure he did a great job in Italy but isn't there a saying "One swallow does not a summer make"

Some have compared Michael to Senna but I never will because of the unsportsman behaviour of Michael.
I have seen some great things from Alonso and even though he won 2 World championships beating Michael and Raikkonen, I would still not compare him to Senna at this stage of his career.

Perhaps your a new to F1 then I would say that you would soon change your mind. Nearly or not

i say kubica will be nearly senna in years coming, not now. for being new to f1, no. i like f1 since girl. My man and me we go to many tracks many times. Now i am home with bebbies. So my man is home also.

What it says JayVee, is that I like to have fun. I enjoy making outrageous or speculative predictions way into the future, in the same way that I buy speculative lotto tickets. Sometimes I wander up to single attractive females, and on speculation, ask them if I might buy them a drink.
Sometimes I get lucky, and win a small prize on lotto.
One, such as yourself, who takes some of my predictions seriously, need only cast an eye on my 8nPole Results, which usually place me in the upper 50%seasonally, but never threaten for the lead.
If, by making such posts, one person is attracted to the Forums, or it stimulates a thread, then I am happy, for that is my intention. No other member seems to have difficulty discerning whether I am making a serious post, or a light hearted one.
It was my intention to never post on the F1 boards again, after yet another "flame" by you. Not because I felt offended, or threatened, by your comments,simply because I believed it was in the best interests of the Forum.
I have since been persuaded to return.
Last season I endevoured to find out why you felt the need to pursue my posts in the manner you do. To no avail, that made any sense to me.
Recently in reply to an enquiry from another member as to why, you responded that I Know.
I do not know. Nor am I now remotely interested.
I am interested in the continual growth of the Forums.
In that respect I value your input, particularly with regard to statistics, when you are not "flaming" myself, or others.
I will continue to post in all areas of the Forums, as requested.
If you feel that any part of any post is directed at you, or any part of of one of your posts, you will be mistaken.
If you feel that anything I post is in response to your posts, you will be in error.
If you expect to elicit a response from me, you will be wrong.
Should, for example, my post appear immediately below yours, that will be happenstance, and in no way to be taken in conjunction with your post.

Once again Amara I apologise for sounding too harsh but I couldn't imagine a rookie to be described as nearly Senna when we haven't seen much from him yet!

In another thread you put your opinion and said Alonso made a big mistake, should I be offended by that ? Forums are for debate so please don't go, we could have some interesting disucssions

I'll try to be brief,

If I have flamed you at any time I apologise. I never intend on flaming anyone. Perhaps it is my competitive nature that I would always like to see a clear right/wrong in anything. I know life isn't that way and I will try to apply that here too. (I am only human!!)

You have a very valid point about making outragous suggestions that I cannot and perhaps will never be able to see. So I apologise for bringing up your past prediction to prove you are wrong.

To be friends again perhaps I should recognise Webber more and you perhaps do the same ?

You would be making a huge disservice to the forum if you don't post. If we can't both enjoy the time here then it should be me who leaves and if this happens again I will without notice.

I hope we can all enjoy the 2007 season with good results from Alonso and Webber

I realise that we are all human and have our off days where everything seems like a snide remark or just not worth the effort but I love the people here... and I don't want either of you to leave. I realise that I have not been around as long as either of you but I still think I can be a valuable member of this forum and enjoy the company and comments of everyone here.
In the meantime .... Andy Roddick is about to start his match... so I must be off to the television......

You are all valuable members. Without each and everyone of you the forum won't be what it is.
