sgd wrote:some ask why i complain about the sutation whan the teams are not... not????
The teams wrote a letter to Montemezolo...the letter, which was copied to Todt and distributed to the media by the signatories, brands Ferrari’s attitude as “highly disrespectful to the sport” and urges the Italian team to align itself with the 30-day scheme.
.....
but that say BAR is terrific!!:
That argument (ferrari saying that they are the only top'team with bridgestone...) cuts little ice with BAR team principal Nick Fry, who told the Sunday Telegraph: “For them to claim they are a special case because they are the only major team who use Bridgestones is like waving a red rag to a bull.
“In effect they have a bespoke tyre while the others are on Michelins. While we get quality we have limited options from our supplier and have to compromise.
“There is no shared information, as Ferrari suggests, because we are competitors.”
Fry added: “Ferrari’s decision to go it alone in testing shows flagrant disregard for the rest of us and gives them an unquestionable edge. They have been running and developing their new car day after day on private tracks.
“If Michael Schumacher gains another world championship it will be a hollow championship.”
READ IT AGIAN:
“If Michael Schumacher gains another world championship it will be a hollow championship.”
Also read Ross Brown saiyng that it was positive to have Bridgestone working exclusively for them and taht it's an advantage vs Michellin's teams... Now they say it's bad.... =/
More "cheat":
The Italian team were hard at work on Monday, albeit annoying its competitors by flaunting two test prohibitions -- running on a Monday, and simultaneously at two circuits.
(from GMM) (see also

at least I just want to echo Nick Fry:
“If Michael Schumacher gains another world championship it will be a hollow championship.”
Cheat is not good!! it's for loosers cowards and fearfuls... ...for ferrari...

sgd, to be honest, the news from f1central are biased, try to get a balance mate. They are just like tabloids, they pick a heading and when you read the article you wonder.
Ferrari are having major problems, we don't need someone to tell us that. They have to either take the F2004M to Bahrain and San Marino and possibly finish outside the points or take the F2005 and risk not finishing at all.
And with their current problems, I see them doubling their testing and they won't listen. That's a natural reaction. But when they eventually realise that they got it wrong this year, they'll raise the white flag and we'll all say thank God for Renault
K-D can you give us your view on this Ferrari testing and this so-called ban on testing agreement that Ferrari isn't adhering to ?
Gentleman this, gentleman that, don't they sign anything in F1

I think we discussed this already,
Ferrari are doing what they are entitled to. If they are breaking any rules they will be penalised. They aren't being penalised so they are not cheating. The other teams are just trying to put pressure on Ferrari
They are playing politics, yes, they all are and I too hope it gets resolved soon with everyone in agreement.
It is too late for this year but a single tyre is better for the sport I think

Hummm

I don't know how much is f1central biased, but if those agreements exit and ferrari is flaunting them so I call it cheat and I just want to have my say about that. agian... I'm just tired to see how ferrari with it's dirty tactics win year after year. look, i was not and I am not i fact a Renault fan (I'm a McLaren fan) but for me is very good to see them up there because that is a team which looks for the sport, them seem to valorate F1 and it's fans but ferrari anly looks for money and MS putting statistics... even if he(MS) does not deserve it! how many races have won MS? and they count Austria 03? ....

Oh u Guys...this arguement can just go on n on n on....and none of the Ferrari Supporters are gonna agree to you sgd and neither are u gonna support their views.
Sgd,I've mentioned earlier also that bringing Austria '03-team order woulnt help,as Mclaren did the same in Australia'98.Whats the point here???
Every team exploits rules for their own benefit.Didnt Benetton/Renault have a (suspected)launch control system when they were not supposed to??Does that make Renault Cheaters??
No team here is clean.Everyone uses its power when they can.Williams did it,Mclaren did it n now Ferrari is doing it.Every team has the right to function the way they want.(Team orders,Favoritism....)
I agree,Ferrari's dominance made the sport predictable but not boring to me.I'm sure every F1 fan watched every race in anticipation of Ferrari being beaten and now its happening.SO lets enjoy it!!
Champions are meant to be beaten one day, enjoy the new Champion rather than cursing the old one

that was just an example about the stat.s....
is easy to say "all are bad so don't judge ferrari" maybe you're right but I don't care. in last years I have not seen such anti-sport tactics (and too many) from other team but ferrari. that's it if in the 60's williams was a cheater I don't care naw, now I care about the current situation (repeat the Aus03 was an example of what I said about stat.s) if you are not interested in what happen today, that is your bussiness i care and I just what to say it. if it were BAR or Toyota which decided to test every day while there's an agreement not to do so, i'd write about it.... worst when are the "Champions" who do that. worst for the sport. and is not only about test... see what they did with the GPWC, with rules...etc...

Looks very small minded to me, this argument of FERRARI cheating, come on sgd dont do your weeping in public.
What about MCLAREN who had to change their radical brakes after the first race in 98(yes the same race DC gave away his victory to Mika), it was not according to the technical requirements. But they already had a counting 1-2 result. Thats just one example.
What about MICHELIN when they used the flexible tyres? How many points did their teams win until it was discovered? Another example.
Michael simply won his races on merit, Austria 03 being the sole exception. And he gave away many more races, at least 3, to Rubens. So whats the point?
F1 is an extreme competition and companies involved spend fortunes so why shall everybody agree to have their resources cut down? First a system is created which makes countless hours of testing necessary and then the participants of the system shall agree to cope with the new demands without extensive testing just like that. After millions of dollars going into R+D? FERRARI have their own position like everybody else, they feel that under the current system they need their tests. They did not ask anybody else to reduce testing either. Who is cheating here? Nobody. If I dont like to sign a contract I wont do it, period.
Im not saying this as a Michael or FERRARI fan, but as an enthusiastic follower of F1. I dont mind if a RENAULT or MCLAREN or anyone else wins the Championship on merit. If they do thats fine and then it would be unfair again to state they did it through cheating.

sure!! of course!! so you tell me that MS is not The 1 driver in ferrari and he doesn't have an edge vs Rubens... thst's so...

Which merit when you race vs a handicaped teammante??? HAhAH that's so funny!! If Rubens was allowed to go ahead MS just after MS is the WC.
People who think that MS has not ALL the best in ferrari are blind and discus with them is useless. I don't know if you think so but say that MS have won (the last years) on merit is very... funny. (i don't want to say that he wouldn't won with a non-handicaped teammate!!! I'm just SURE he didn't)

I repeat no offical cheat but don't you think that have unlimited test, when ALL the other teams agreed to limit tests to cut costs, gives you a BIG edge en F1? that is in fact a cheater's move.
PLEASE tell me which other team is now cheating and I WILL open a topic to discuse it!!!
