What a race!
Fantastic win for Hamilton with a perfect drive. Heidfeld also did well and finished in second. Wurz capitlised on the safety car condition stopping once and managed 3rd!
Kovalainen did well finishing 4th while Raikkonen in 5th. Sato impressive in 6th ahead of Alonso who made a number of mistakes and had a penalty finished 7th ahead of Ralf Schumacher in 8th.
Kubica had a massive crash but thankfully he seems to be in a stable condition.
Fisichella and Massa were black flagged to exiting the pits under red. Harsh perhaps ? It was the first the race where the safety car came out this season and it will take a while for the teams to work out the rules.
Your say and the driver of the day ?

Perhaps the most eventful Canadian GP since 1997...Ed wrote:What a race!

Congrats Hamilton.

Good job Nick.
Lucky but cool Wurz.
Double congrats Sato

Pity for Kubica. He's lucky to stay alive though.
Driver of the day should be a tie between Sato and Hamilton.
My vote will go to Sato for taking on Alonso

Now the great speculation begins:
Will Hamilton manage what's never been done before? He might be more successful than Jacques in 1996. That guy is truly good
