In case anyone's interested, check out the new north american motorsports category---both IRL and ChampCar forums are there, w/race previews from both Nashville and Edmonton. Enjoy!

And the preview for the Queensland round of the V8 Supercars is up.

I'll consider it, julian. BTW, qual. for Nashville was rained out Friday afternoon, so they'll start based on final practice speeds--in case your wondering, Danica's starting 2nd for tonight's race.

Julian, the race just ended....Franchitti wins, Patrick w/7th place finish...race summary to come w/in an hour or so.
BTW, provide me that info on the V8 supercar teams....Come to think of it, they showed on Speed Channel here in the States' some of the races over the winter and they were pretty good...reminded me of some of the sports & touring car series over here(Speed GT, Touring Car and SpeedWorld Challenge series'.)

Sounds to me like Danica was one of the survivors: rather than racing for a win

Yeah, that's Nashville for you...just keep your wits about you and watch out for everything, cause' that's what last night was, a battle of survival, like Richmond was.

Oh, hey, julian, how are you today. You know that F1 trivia thing that lemon does? You might me interested in the open-wheel trivia thread I've started over in the IRL forum. It's 10 questions, and I don't believe they're too difficult to answer. Just answer the questions, PM the answers to me, and we'll see what happens.
