Michael Schumacher wins the race comfortably ahead of Fernando Alonso who had to switch strategies to get ahead of Felipe Massa.
Ralf Schumacher manages 4th which is an excellent result as that included a very slow pit stop.
Kimi Raikkonen managed 5th and couldn't catch Ralf while Fisichella finished 6th which must be a dissapointing result for him.
Pedro de la Rosa did well finishing 7th not too far from Raikkonen while Nick Heidfeld made the top 8.

Honda and Williams continue to struggle!

The race had some overtaking a some differing strategies making the race interesting and the championship is closer!

Your thoughts and the driver of the day ?

Idiot interview:
JB.......winnowing out all the c.r.a.p.
He said..."We are lacking downforce.............We are lacking horsepower.......we are lacking reliability"
Gentlemanly interview of the day,
MW...winnowing out all the c.r.a.p.
"Dunno really, I think it was a heat build up on the inside of the left rear, we are all doing the best we can". I would have taken my helmet off and clubbed the nearest Bridgestone tyre technician to death with it. Then I would have gone looking for Sam.
Drive of the day
Scott Speed.
Shaft of the season...Alonso.......(Briatore to Alonso, post race.....and next race you will be even further down......Fisi what do you think of those "07 bits",....will Mark like them ?
Bridgestone Tyre Tech to Michelin Tyre Tech.........hahahahahahahahahahah

Well done Michael, drove a flawless race!!

Overall,the race was very boring.

Change of strategy minimise the damage for Alonso, well done Renault for that.
Massa drove well for his 3rd,but was lacklustre in the 2nd stint which possibly cost him the place.I think he was driving rather easily not anticipating the change of strategy from Renault to jump him

Ralf   Toyota were looking quite handy,n could have take the podium with truli

Kimi fought well, but screw up in the pits cost him challenging Ralf.

Fisi, ought to happen to him after 2 good races,De la rosa & Heildfeld salvage some points..but never looked good.

Was suprised to see Williams not performing even with Bridgestone, probably they chose the wrong tires.Webber holding Pedro was the only exiciting part in the race, apart from his tyre/rim failure

2 long weeks wait now....
