Another quickest lap by Montoya with a 1:24.770 and the gap is down to 7.8

Raikkonen responds with a quick lap and the gap is back to 8 seconds
Alonso is 37 seconds behind Montoya however the McLarens have yet to stop

Button is now 15 seconds ahead of Fisichella but will need more to be able to pit and stay in front of him!
Barrichello makes his second stop from 7th!

So after 48 laps Raikkonen leads Montoya by 20 seconds, Alonso in 3rd 10 seconds behind.

Michael Schumacher is now 19 laps behind! He has improved his qualifying slot in Italy!

The McLarens are dominant today particulary Kimi who has managed 20 seconds over Montoya.
The Renaults are the second fastest team however BAR have clearly closed the gap and Button in particular may have been a serious threat but for his mistake in qualifying.

The only close fight is between Villeneuve and Ralf Schumacher for 11th place. 0.5 seconds separate the two!
The rest seem to have settled for their places!
