Raikkonen is struggling. He goes wide in turn 1.

Looks like he is having problems with his tyres

Order after 35 laps: Raikkonen, Alonso (+15), Heidfeld, Barrichello, Coulthard, Massa, M Schumacher and Montoya.

Liuzzi is in 9th ahead of Trulli, Button and Fisichella

Lap 41 and Raikkonen's lead over Alonso is 14 seconds.

Heidfeld is 15 seconds behind Alonso while Barrichello in 4th is 9 seconds behind Heidfeld.

Indeed Raikkonen pits and Alonso now leads.

The question is if he has to stop or not!

Alonso puts in the fastest lap of the race, a 1:30.711. This most likely means he has to make another stop

Alonso pushing hard goes off but rejoins after losing some 5 seconds!

Massa and Montoya have pitted, Michael is still out!

Alonso is now closing the gap to Raikkonen by a second a lap.

With 6 laps to go can he catch him.
