Hi guys!!
Firstly, can i have my iced tea pls!!
A traumatic week here in Mumbai!!! I'm just lucky to be alive
The water Gods had no sympathy for the city which never sleeps, cos they made sure no one slept for a week. The city had come to a standstill with no electricity, food or drinking water.
Still some parts of the city remains in dark & with minimum supply of basic commodities.
The suburbs of Mumbai were the most badly affected area, thats where most of the people stay.On 26th July 6pm onwards the cloub burst occured which left 98% on the ppl stranded on the streets as its the peak hour traffic to return home. Most of them were stranded in their cars/on streets for almost 24-48hrs.
Minimum flooding on the streets of Mumbai was 4.5 feet with a maximum of 16 feet. The official number of ppl dead are 1208,with unknown number missing.
I've been working with my wife(who is a journalist) for the past week reaching out in these area, not to mention that we almost drowned too
Things are getting back to normal from today & so i thought of visiting this bar for a drink
