Never thought I would be happy to be in a severe storm warning zone.
But when it's a downgrade from hurricane, it kinda puts things into a different perspective :lol:

Good luck to you all in the East......I'll be thinking of you while I play golf today in 20 degree (Celcius) sunshine......Geez we could use some of that rain....

Our state gov doesn't realise that 2m people use more water than 1.2m people and that perhaps new dams, recycled water etc need to be considered rather than just building expensive, power hungry, inefficient Desal Plants.

Apparantly we were saved by a cold air front.
The hurricane force winds were forced above 1000 ft by the cold air stream and swept above us in excess of 90 knots :shock:
