Because the test was going to be paid for out of his own pocket he has gone and told me I have options now....
A) He will pay for the once off test at Silverstone
B) He will give me enough funds to race a full Formula vee season here in S.A...
or C) He will give me funds to race in the newly launched championship here racing a Reynard champ car atlantic chassis for a year...
I hate decisions....
For the price of the Silverstone test I can buy a Formula Vee....
Dont know what to do....
Each choice carries with it its' own set of risks/rewards, T-K......for instance, let's say that you choose option A and have a full-up, successful Silverstone test.....chances are you'll get your name in the European press and motorsports community, which can then lead to a possible FF ride(and chance at running in the FF Festival at the end of that year....) and so on.....on the other hand, a not-so-successfull one-off could knock ya' out of the running for a chance at a ride.....
Then again, choosing B or C carries their own risks and rewards.......unlike the one-off at Silverstone, you'd have an entire season to impress the powers-that-be and if you, through hard work and determination, were to win either series' championship, that could get you a foot in the door of any series further up the ladder , not just in S.A. but outside the country, too.......many a top NA open-wheel champion has gotten their start outside the U.S.(just look at F1-bound Bourdais; he worked his up the European open-wheel ladder, wins the F3000 title back in '02, gets ignored by the F1 powers-that-be, comes over to ChampCar and what does he do? He wins four straight championships from 2004-2007.....

)
Regardless of whatever choice you make, just keep plugging away at it, T-K, and you'll make it to the top of the motorsports ladder......who knows, we might even see you on the Borg-Warner Trophy at the Brickyard.....
