I have seen Webber race in the wet a number of times. He usually won. Sometimes he won by 40 seconds or more. Hence the hype

Yes Mr Ambassador!
Webber spun out in the wet! He stuffed up end of story.
Wet races highlight driver skill, now you are blaming the car
I am sure the Honda wasn't a race winner if it was dry but in the wet Button did it.

he goes where Briatore tells him to go,...as I said in several posts, he will only join Renault if Briatore leaves, as Briatore is not going to pay himself, his cut of Marks income.
He went to Williams against the advise of Briatore!
Alonso is managed by Briatore, why is he at Renault ?
Kovalainen will be at Renualt next year and he is also managed by Briatore.
The problem is with Webber. Face it, he hasn't proved himself enough for a Renault seat.

The Renault engine deal for RedBull is being negotiated now. Renault have to sell engines to stay viable in F1.
There is not only Red Bull that is looking after engines.
Julian Mayo wrote:
I recall you expected Klien to hose Webbo......where is Klien driving next year ?
There is no seat at McLaren.

You recall
You mean you made up
When did I say Klien will hose Webber ?
Lets see, Webber and Klien were teammates in 2004. Was this forum running then ? ED HELP!!
Or did you know me from another forum ?
You want to accuse me of saying something, show me a quote or stay quiet.
I will stay quiet when I am good and ready.
Yes Webber went to Williams against the wishes of Briatore (Aust Auto Action, last week.)
Yes RedBull is negotiating for Renault engines now, (Aust Motorsport, this week)
You can waste the time looking for all your quotes as to how his teammates were better than him, I am sure you will find many, just as I am sure that many of the members of this forum will also recall them.
The simple fact is that none of them have managed to equal him.
I think you have "scummakers disease" , it seems that you too are never wrong, and never make mistakes.
Just face facts. Alonso is a very good driver. He is not the best. He has the chance to prove over time that he can be the best.
If he doesn't no doubt you will jump ship to another driver, as you did with JV last year.

Seems you are very selective in listening to what drivers say after races.
Oh Sorry, silly me, Webbo, Scummaker et dont have names starting with A

Another long response, something must be happening!
Face it Julian, you won't look for quotes cause there aren't any. I never said anything about Webber/Klien so face it and admit you are accusing me of something I never said.
It is easy to accuse someone of being never wrong but it is you who is wrong.
We've had discussions on Webber/Heidfeld and if you go back and look at the points they scored last year when Heidfeld was still driving for Williams, Heideld had 28 points and Webber 24. This proves that Webber was slighlty beaten by Heidfeld. Who is never wrong huh ?
This year Webber and Rosberg have scored 2 times each, I know the car is pretty bad but 6 - 4 in favour of Webber isn't much to brag about especially against a rookie!
I never said Alonso is the best driver, I said he was the best driver in Hungary, as for being the best driver, he has the ingredients to become the best but whether he will or not remains to be seen.
We had a long discussion about Villeneuve in the past, it is in one of those threads and I will not go back to that argument to distract from this one.

And proudly so, unlike the 98% percent of Australians who only come out of the woodwork to jump on the bandwagon of proven champions.
Anyone who has made it to F1 from Mark's background is a champion.
This is F1, where the top drivers in the world compete. To stay in the field for more than one year, marks a driver as being special. Especially when he doesnt carry sponsors with him.
Mr Ambassador, ......bloody oath.!!!!!

It is a male thing I am sure but you'll never admit you are wrong!
First you accused me of saying the Klien will hose Webber.
I never said that and it is such a made up statement that even this forum wasn't up when they were driving together.
A few posts ago you said none of his team-mates managed to equal him, well Heidfeld beat him (just by a bit)
You keep saying Briatore will not place Webber in Renault just because he is there, if that is true why is Alonso there ? Why is there strong speculation Kovalainen will be there ? All 3 are managed by Briatore.
The statements from you that are wrong. Face it and don't hide by just posting something else hoping the subject will go away!!.

Last year you stated that you thought klien had the goods on Webber in the '04
. Fact
Last year you stated that Heidfield would trounce Webber
Fact
Heidfield outscored Webber thru Webber retiring with mechanical failure more.
Fact.
How the hell would I know what Briatore is up to. webber stated the Briatore did not want him to go to Williams
Fact
A number of journalists have said that Briatore will not put Webber in Renault, while Briatore is there.
Fact
You have consistantly denigrated Webber.
Fact.
Churlish comments like "its a male thing" belittle you.
Fact.
You take peoples quotes and posts out of context for the sake of promoting an arguement, any argument.
fact

Just by writing something and then writing Fact at the end of it proves nothing.
Now just to reply to these misleading statements of yours
Julian Mayo wrote:Last year you stated that you thought klien had the goods on Webber in the '04

Until you show me that quote of mine about Klien, it isn't a fact!!

Rubbish, in 2005 Heidfeld had more mechanical failure.

Fact
So ?
Julian Mayo wrote:

Fact
Easy to claim, hard to prove! How many times did journalists say one thing and the truth was the opposite. Did those jouranlists question why Alonso is there if he is managed by Briatore. Did you stop and think ?
Julian Mayo wrote:You have consistantly denigrated Webber.

Rubbish, again, show me a quote ? I always say that Webber needs to step up if he is to be World Championship material. To me at this stage he is in the 2nd teir of drivers in F1 and his signing with Red Bull just proves that.
Webber has never done something that will make me say denigrative comments about him.
I did say that last year he did sometimes have crazy starts and he should cool down a bit.
Julian Mayo wrote:Churlish comments like "its a male thing" belittle you.

Perhaps Julian doesn't know what the meaning of fact is as he seems to plaster that word everywhere.
Go look it up Julian, it is no good staying quiet and not proving those facts.

Au contraire Mmslle, I know the meaning well. I also understand meaningful, logical discussion.
I also, when someone tells me to keep quiet...tells me, no less...can argue with the most illogical, irrational of them all, using their own tactics.
As you posted to Jim Watt some time ago, you don't post much these days, because there are not enough arguments.
Today, I have gone to great lengths to rectify that for you.
I awwait my rewards with relish, if not on earth........then wherever
