All F1 racers are VERY good drivers, and some F1 drivers are at a level that only less than 5 drivers reach. Agree
Currently there is little doubt that the three best drivers in the world are:
Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen. Second two yes, Michael WAS, but not since China '04
No team is active in the sport to give anything away; as much as Ferrari is enamoured with Michael Schumacher, were Rubens to continue racing and qualifying in front of Michael, then all of Ferrari's resources will be used to make Rubens the WDC. But Michael has the team and all its resources behind him to start with. He would have to be really mediocre if he managed to get beaten by Barrichello
No driver teamed with Michael have ever been able to hold his own against him, the occasional faster qualifying is not enough. The occasional better racing is not enough.
Get over the team orders, they have been banned for more that 2 seasons. Banned is one thing, using loop holes is another
Dislike Michael Schumacher if you want to, but do not make yourse?f appear less intelligent denying his undoubted talent. I don't think anyone doubts his talent pre China '04. It would have been much better had he acheived his results playing fair though and without team preference/orders

This topic has been nailed to death but Michael won 83 races. 2/3 of that is 55. You are saying he won those in 2nd or 3rd best carsF1greyhound wrote:Michael won about 2/3 of his GPs in the second or third best car incl.all his first 20 victories.

Since 2000 he won 47 races in the best car.
In 94 he won 7 maybe in the second best car but against who ?
I hope you'll enjoy Bahrain, I know I will

To make things 100% clear we have to speak about the package rather than the car. In 2003 Michael didnt have the best package and in most years no package is superior in all races. 2/3 is a rough estimation of mine, take it +/- 5%. Anyway Im not aware of any driver who had these results not having the best package, and that includes the likes of Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and Nigel Mansell.

Sure Michael had his time in the sun, but lets enjoy this season. We'll be talking about it for a long time

again you guys are just talking about schumacher, he'll be 7th if lucky
alonso will again win but not sure if fisichella will come second, he is under much pressure so he may make mistakes again
kimi will be very strong too
de la rosa may have problems since he didn't race for a long time
then williams and toyota and bar but some will retire especially bar
it seems it will be very hot so don't give ferrari and bridgestone much hope
it will be another great race

Once upon a time there was a driver named Michael who won 7 Championships (a record at that time never thought will be broken). In 2005 a young Spaniard named Fernando became the youngest ever Champion and ... the rest was historyK-D wrote:Of how Michael Schumacher fought back with a car clearly not better than the third best package and still won the WDC!!!!!
