Yep. Poor Snowy. And I was so hopeful that he'd recover.

There will be an advantage for Ferrari, Toyota and Williams, how much no one knows but I very much doubt it will be huge.
Toyota can't be used as a yardstick. They had major problems with their tyres early in the season but that doesn't mean Renault or McLaren will. There is a huge difference between those two teams and Toyota!
you are very right, but they will strugle for sure and i will bet on that,
when i said Ferrari and Toyota will dominant that do not mean that other teams will not perform well, they have to perform well but they can't show their full strengh and it will take time to show it, at that time other team will take advantage.
I understood dominant that they will be winning races and even finishing 1-2.
I agree Toyota with their current drivers are likely to finish 5th and 6th

Unfortunately for me and for Honda you have both missed the upheavals in the Honda Technical dept.

They have lost Tchnical Director Geoff Willis, Senior Aerodynamicists Willem Toet and Simon Lacey. All these changes are Surmountable for a team with a strong leader and track record of good decision making, however Honda is not that bright and BAR weren't that bright either strategy wise. Much as I would like to see them triumph the only plus's they have is driver line up, experience on Bridgestone in 2003/4 and that isn't going to make that much difference, when you consider that if the car is a pig not even a Schuey can make it a winner.

You are so right. I forgot all about Willis.
Honda will be going backward next year then!
But when did Schumacher win in a pig of a car ?

No rumours here

The Benetton was NOT a pig of a car.
It may have been slightly slower than the Williams but it wasn't a pig of a car.
Actually from 1988 till 1997 only twice did Benetton finish below third in the championship (and both times they finished fourth).
That cannot be a pig and achieve that.
A pig of a car shouldn't finish better than 8th in my books

I agree, I do recall a Schuey supporter claiming the Benneton was a pig on this forum

Not likely. They'd have to change the box design and make it all red then.

That is what I said wasn't it? Even Schuey can't make a pig of a car a winner. I didn't say he has made a pig of a car a winner, however he has won numerous races in cars that should not have won because as everybody is no doubt aware he had a not inconsiderable talent and ability behind the wheel.
The Beneton was an outstanding car far superior to the Williams in '94 and at least on a par with it in '95.

Yes I know but your statement glorified Schuey and hence my question.
But why "a not inconsiderable" ? Wouldn't it be easier to say "a considerable" ?

(I struggled a bit to understand the first one
