That presentation was soooooo coooooool!

Alonso The Cute was soooo relaaaxed and happy. He seemed to be joking too!!

The bit I could figure out was when asked about his predictions for the season (I think):
His rival: Kimi
No of Victories: 6
No of Poles: 4
The surprise: Kovalainen
The failure: Williams
averais (couldn't find a translation  ): 0
Sanctions: 0
The last 2 I couldn't read

I don't undersand Spanish   so please please please if anyone knows Spanish there are a couple of bits that I am most interested in,

The bit he talks about his new helmet, he seems to have concentrated on the black bit for some reason ??
The bit when Senna is mentioned!
The bits I couldn't figure out from that list
Who was the guy he talked to over the phone ?
What did he write at the end ?

:thankyou:

I thenk Fernando makes big mistake. Car freeze after last year, which may be mclaren worst year ever, how they suddenly jump to front???? if it is not near so to being. I think kimmi brings flattered results too.

First you say Kubica is nearly Senna and now you say Alonso make big mistake.

Maybe he has but that is what makes a great driver. Alonso wants a new challenge, and if he succeeds and (I am sure he will) I wonder what you would say then ?

McLaren have always been one of the big teams, they have ups and downs like any other team. It is any driver's dream to race with them.

It took Michael something like 5 years to win with Ferrari. Alonso will take much less. I have a feeling he could do it this year but if not then next year.

Oh and about the car freeze, it is called an engine freeze. The car can be developed but not the engine and the Mercedes engine had only 2 failures last year. And the engine freeze will help them (and Honda and Toyota) to make the engine more reliable.

Oh and on the flattered results,

Please check Alonso vs Fisichella in the Renault. One can easily say Alonso flattered results at Renault.

Raikkonen is car breaker mind you - I beleive

yes i thenk fernando flatter Renault. Giancarlo is what more drivers would get from the car, other than Fernando, kimmi, kubica when he is nearly like senna in years coming. Maybe also webber as he do with Jaguar what Fernando do with Renault.
kimmi also i say break cars, i also say maybe he goes to ferrari made strong for mr schumaker

:welcome: I know I've said this elsewhere, but it bears repeating.......if McLaren can produce a car that is not only race-winning but reliable(something they've had the occasional problem with; there were a few times in the past two years where Raikkonen was either in the lead or close to the lead and....POOF! there goes the car.....  .....) then Alonso could very well win a third WDC. The pressure will most assuredly be on the McLaren techs and engineers to make the MP4-22 the most reliable car on the grid.

I think we should all be happy for "more reliable" :) A lot of drivers will be subject to pressure in 2007. Especially in the big three.

Alonso has a title to defend. Hamilton, being a rookie, has to partner a WDC... It's been a number of years since McLaren completely changed the driver lineup. Moreover one of them a rookie...

Then there is Renault in a similar situation. It's do or die for Fisi. Kovalainen has to fill Alonso's shoes, which are quite big to begin with.

Ferrari-side: Kimi has to replace Schumi. Not easy by any means. Massa has to show what he's made of and now is the chance. Otherwise he'll be doomed to play second fiddle to Raikkonen.

Question is, if some of these guys can't handle the pressure, who will benefit? Honda for one. And maybe even BMW. Who knows? :D
