Pits are now open; expecting everyone to stop for fuel and tires....................3-way race down pitlane btwn. the Penske cars and the TGR car of Scott Dixon............

According to race control, Franchitti was the first out of the pits, although Hornish was scored as the race leader on lap 30 but Franchitti retook the lead exiting pitroad

Team Penske reporting that the weight jacker control in Hornish's car isn't working, so there could be balance problems for him during the race..........

Second round of stops(........... :wtf: ................) beginning......and Franchitti stalls!! They get him refired, but he's lost a ton of spots; a horrible stop for the Canadian Club/Argent team there(timing/scoring reports that he fell from the lead all the way to 18th)

The big beneficiary of that round of stops was Scott Dixon, who sits 24 or so points behind Franchitti in the championship fight, so this could definitely hurt the Scotsman...........

Green flag! Green flag! One/quarter of the race through and cars are going 3-and-4 wide at the front; they know the weather's approaching and this could become a full-fired sprint race!!!

3-wide btwn Wheldon, Scheckter and Franchitti..............and the Scotsman is back to 2nd! Dixon leads, but the championship fight is in full swing here!

Caution's out! Crash in turn 1.............Castroneves and Meira involved and Spiderman is ticked; looks like he's asking Meira, "what the ----(fill in the blank there...... :shock2: ) did you do?"

Watching the ESPN feed, it's apparent Castroneves is very, very ticked off!! He's very animated at the moment; listening to the TV feed, analyst Scott Goodyear's jokingly suggesting that "maybe we shoulda' mic'd Helio for the race.........."(Mod's note.........I don't think that's a good idea, Scott! )
