No naughty steps Julian.

Let me clarify further, we have no issues of people discussing their cares and worries and we didn't edit what Kapel or yourself said intially but we certainly don't want this to develop into a discussion on Iraq and hence my post.

And all the best to your wife Kapel.

Jim Watt wrote::cheers: I love to see the Administrator clarifying matters; it's heartening to know someone other than Julian, JayVee, and the other long time fans, is reading the thread.

And of course I would never change my picks. For me, the whole point of trying to pick the points earned before a race is run is taking me pick sheet with me to the telly and dreaming of being #1 that week --and agonizing with every unexpected turn of events! And being able to post my picks here, sharing them with others, only adds to that fun. If, for instance, Webbo wins on Sunday, I'll know Julian will be over the moon and I'll have to eat me words probably through all NEXT season as well as through the end of this one.

If, on the other hand, Kimi wins, as I expect he will, I will have no particular reason to crow --since approximately 800 out of the some 1200 odd Pole n' 8'ers, will have picked him with me. Most of the rest will have picked either Fernando or Michael.

Incidentally, not to dismay the Indian fans, but the weather here in Indy is BEAUTIFUL! low humidity & temps in the upper 70's lower 80's (farenheit). And it looks to hold through Sunday's race.

I'll be watching tomorrow & Saturday from various spots round the course; on Sunday, I'll be in the NW Vista with a great view of the run down to and through turn One. Am praying that Juan Pablo's learned his lesson from last time and won't be taking either himself or his teammate out there! On the other hand, wouldn't mind a bit if the Renault's put each other in the gravel! Only to tighten up the points race, understand.

Ciao, then, race fans --and may the best earn the sweetest for the rest of the year! :D Jim

In victory, I will be humble, I"m goooorn! catch you all later!!! :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

Second: Fernando Alonso - He moves up the field but settles for second
Third: Jenson Button - The BAR is fast in Indy and they have a new engine
Fourth: Rubens Barrichello - Is on a high
Fifth: Juan Pablo Montoya - Poor qualifying hurts his chances
Sixth: Giancarlo Fisichella - Like JPM
Seventh: Mark Webber - The Williams ain't fast and Webber calms down
Eighth: Jarno Trulli - They fix his brakes

There are many problems all over the world and there are many places that let you talk about them but we have decided not to have these issues discussed on our forums.
Lets keep our forums a fun place to visit, a place that lets us take a break from the harsh realities of the world.

Stupid question maybe, but what are we counting as pole? The grid that led off on the formation lap or the one that took the red light?
