This is an elitist bar, and I will file suit with the powers that is, allowming free and full access despite not being a F1 idiot.

You are "allowmed" as much as you want to be, "full" access sounds about right

Hey, julian, you doing alright today?

You know, I was just thinking...Remember the lame joke I told yesterday about whether y'all had any Budweiser and Sam Adams there at the lounge? Well, after reading some of the more recent postings here, I have an idea...why don't we give those two items to, say, k-d and sgd, while we and everybody else can enjoy all the good beverages here?

Thanks, bundy, for the compliment. Now, if we only had a deck of cards...anybody here ever played Texas Hold'Em?

Mine did not.

So there are at least two Texanes named Cindy.

Just so you know, Texas Hold Em' is one of the most popular forms of poker(card game) played in the States'. Here's how you play....

Let's say that a couple of us were at the table(say, myself, julian, jayvee, bundy, lemon...okay, maybe k-d as well) along w/a casino dealer to deal the cards for us. To start, each player gets two cards--these are your "hole cards" that you keep to start. After a round of betting(where you either put some chips in or you fold, and throw your cards back in), the dealer lays out three cards. These are the community cards, available to anyone at the table.

After a second round of betting, the dealer will lay down another card(known as the turn card, or 4th street). Again, another round of betting, and then the dealer lays the down the fifth card(known as the river card, or 5th street). Finally, one more round of betting, and whoever is left presents their hole cards to the dealer. Whoever has the best five-card hand from their hole cards and the community cards wins.

If you still have trouble understanding the game, head over to ESPN's website, www.espn.com and scroll down the left side of the screen until ya' see the word 'poker'. Click it, and it should take you to that page--ESPN's Poker Club. It's a great site, and I hope this explains what Texas Hold Em' is as a game.
