I agree that MARK tried to fulfill his own high expectations and the hype about his talent and that he pushed too hard. I agree that he is a very talented driver. I agree that the WILLIAMS this year is not great.

BUT.............MARK did not do better than NICK, and he certainly did rather worse than JENSON. Look where TAKU is in the points. JENSON actually has proven to be special, last year in a decent car he had 10 podiums and this year with all the problems he takes the maximum out of it.

I think that MICHAEL, KIMI, FERNANDO and JENSON would have done better than MARK in the WILLIAMS, at least some 10-20 points.

Ahh, Julian, you got the point. MICHAEL should have won the WDC even in this years car, on this years tyres. Probably he lost his driving abilities...

Disagreed. I think Webber would have been world Champ in Alonso's Renault too since the hypertheticals have begun. I think all drivers named by you would have had the same problems as Webber, especially with reguard to launch control, Michelin tyre problems, burnt arses and some poor driving by those around him. He hasn't really made too many mistakes but he hasn't shone too often either.

Yes JB will probably beat Barrichello in the points this year but that would be because the Ferrari package is no good and Barrichello has lost all interest

Sir Frank is reported to have just knocked back an offer of $US 22 million from Honda for Button.
My read on that is that Sir Frank must have some big sponsorship deal in the pipeline that is dependant on Button joining the team which is worth a lot more, because 22mil buys a lot of cosworth engines. It sure as hell is nothing to do with Buttons ability or lack of. 8)

Well my sources say that JB is staying at BAR next year. The price is around 30mil.

Just for refernce my secret source is www.grandprix.com
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.
