Neither of them ever said NEVER...
The thing is that RON doesnt pay great salaries and doesnt like the driver to be the star rather than the team. What MERCEDES want however is slightly different, and whatever they offered MICHAEL, he will provide them with a 1000% return on investment when he retires as a public face for MERCEDES, possibly as a consultant. The circle will close next year...
Im sure some people cant see MICHAEL stand up against FERNANDO. IMO MICHAEL will show his class(this year also..) and FERNANDO will find himself at a new level of competition, different class to JARNO and FISICO(with all respect!).

I'd love to see that, if only to be able to say "I told you so" to everybody who laughed at me when I made the predction at the beginning of the season.
Wonder how JayVee will cope with FA being Michael's helper?

First he needs to stand up against Massa. Perhaps Massa's tendency to go off is contaigous and Michael's got it now
Michael is going nowhere, last year he could blame the tyres and get away with it, this year is he going to blame the car ? Massa won't let him
He should have retired in 2004.
3 races so far and he only did well in Bahrain thanks to (was it) 7 days of testing. In Malaysia he was soundly beaten by his team-mate and in Australia he crashed out. Class ? Where ?
