I wish I was listening to the sounds of silence... the sounds of the ocean, the sounds of butterfly wings flapping........ the sounds of happiness......
instead I am listening to the sounds of excuses from my mil..... the sounds of abuse from my brother..... the sounds of a poor little dog as he went under the wheels of a car... and the sounds of sarcasm from the one I love the most.

Ouch!
Not your wheels, I hope.....if they were, then you MUST blame the dog owner, for not being in control of the dog
As for the others......F.... em! Enjoy the silent sounds of your own breath......enjoy the peace of your own mind, secure in the knowledge that you do that which is right. Discard that, and those, who do not ever help you to comfort others, and yourself.......forgive those, who through tiredness or other, do not temporarily live up to your expectations. Enjoy at least one moment every day. Just find sixty seconds to stroke a cat, look at a cloud, really taste that morsel or sip. Chill for sixty seconds and you will beat them all 8)

No luckily not our wheels. We had noticed a little Jack Russell type dog running down the footpath just after dark. He then went and stood in the middle of the road. We were driving home at the time. He then took off down torward a major intersection and somehow managed to dodge his way through all the traffic and get to the other side. Jeremy said that he assumed that I wanted to try and catch the little fellow before he got hit. So we got to a spot where we could do a u-turn, stopped in someone's driveway. By this time someone else had stopped and they were trying to catch the dog. I went and asked if it was their dog and that is when the little one took off and ran straight onto the road and got bowled over. He then took off and headed down Torquay Road. Luckily he went into someone's front yard and we were able to catch him. We then after much mucking about took him to the animal ambulance and he was taken off to Animal Welfare. He had no collar, not micro chipped and so far no one has advertised for him. I wish I knew someone who could give him a home. He is so cute.

I DO blame the dog owner. I was furious that someone could let him out on a major road without supervision. I hope he finds a new home because whoever owned him does not deserve to have a pet.
As for everything else...well what can I say?? Thank you for being a great should to cry on. :D
