I am pretty sane and I have to take issue with your analysis. Fernando could possibly have won the race but Michael Schumacher would not have finished second. And I think I ought to remind you as sanely as I can that Jenson won the race and drove an inferior car faultlessly to that win.

Or perhaps if you are taking sides and making a comment at the same time...

Michael was 4th when Heidfeld passed him. That would have been the best result had he not damaged his steering wheel. Even if he stopped and put on dry tyres he would have lost two places to Pedro and Heidfeld and it is doubtful if he would have made up those positions.
So if both Alonso and Michael didn't retire, Alonso could have won while Michael would have finished 5th.
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

As for the subject of this topic... well the race is run and the winners and losers have all left and some of us are still trying to conduct a post mortem... sad but true.
NEWSFLASH!!!! Jenson Button won!!
and no amount of would have/could have will make any difference.
Ps I just like to personalise everything so that I can put my two cents worth in... :burnout:
