Going back on topic, according to the geniuses over at autoracing1.com, rumor has it that the FIA is going to require Bridgestone to supply two different tire compounds for teams to use during the course of a grand prix race...or as the revised 2007 Sporting Regulations put it:
Each tire supplier must undertake to provide no more than two specifications of dry-weather tires at each Event, each of which must be of one homogenous compound and visibly distingushable from one another when a car is on the track.

If the Singapore night race is a success, Melbourne, and possibly China will be night races. Its all about tv ratings dearie 8)

Some clown came up with the idea of revising the Indianapolis circuit layout (for both F1 and MotoGP), reversing the direction, eliminating the double hairpin in the infield and adding two 180s on to the banked turn 13.
