I'm not sure the point Coulthard is trying to make. The olny driver who I believe put his money where his mouth was even in the press was Jacques Villeneuve. Trust me, he has no problem looking Sh@#$%tMaker [as someone else so elegantly put it] in the eye and telling him to go "F" himself!!Ed wrote:The GPDA will be meeting today and among the items on the agenda is Michael's incident at Monaco. David Coulthard:Personally speaking, I don?t, but as a group of drivers though, we have an opportunity to take a vote. Personally were are stronger in our opinions and can influence more the sport today and the future if we are united. Drivers don?t always see eye to eye of course, but the Monaco events should just be taken as they were. Michael got his punishment, and anyone who wants to discuss it can, and then we should get on with the business of driver and track safety.
These PC remarks from Coulthard [plus his inability to lead the McLaren team after Hakkinen retired] are 2 reasons why I can't be a bigger fan of his.
